Change in Regional Boundaries and Regional Contacts

Regional Boundaries

The current county responsibilities for certain regional offices will change, effective June 1, 2008. The changes are only applicable to facilities surveyed by the Bureau of Nursing Home Resident Care. The Northern Regional Office (NRO) (Rhinelander) will be resuming responsibility for counties that had been temporarily assigned to other regions.

NRO will be resuming responsibility for Sawyer, Rusk and Taylor counties, previously the responsibility of the Western Regional Office. They will also assume responsibility for Florence, Langlade and Portage counties, previously under the jurisdiction of the Northeastern Regional Office.
