county for "single point contact" and facility coordination.
DHFS engineer/architect coordinates preliminary and final plan review,
construction, and construction inspections with T-18 hospital surveys and
JCAHO validation surveys.
2 The Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals
and Health Care Facilities, published by the American Institute of
Architects with the assistance of the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services, is a nationally recognized document.
