From: Rita Prigioni, Interim Director, Bureau of Quality Assurance

Attached [not available via the Internet] is information we received several years ago from the federal Health Care Financing Administration Central Office in Baltimore and the Chicago Regional Office. This information deals with the continued use of "Omega Series" sprinkler heads. Also enclosed is a NFPA News Bulletin on the recall of Omega sprinklers published January-February 1999 [not available via the Internet].

Since the sprinkler heads are still an issue in recent court dates, the Bureau feels the enclosed information is useful in keeping all parties apprised of current events.

If you have any questions, please contact your Bureau of Quality Assurance engineer.
