Data Collected under Chapter 153, Wis. Stats.

This page provides access to publications prepared by the Department of Health and Family Services based on data collected from Wisconsin hospitals and freestanding ambulatory surgery centers under Chapter 153, Wis. Stats. 

As of January 1, 2004, data collection activities for hospital inpatients, emergency department visits, ambulatory surgeries, and hospital facilities were transferred by a change in statute to the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA). Visit the WHA Information Center (exit DHFS) for more recent editions of the standard reports.
