The Division of Health Care Financing (DHCF) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Department will inform users when a PES upgrade is available via email and postings to the Wisconsin Medicaid Web site located at dhs.wisconsin.gov/medicaid/. Users should check for upgrades on a weekly basis and download them when available, using the instructions below. Failure to perform upgrades will prevent users from submitting claims to Wisconsin Medicaid. |

To get an upgrade for PES:
Once the upgrade is downloaded, exit the application and go into the upgrade application to apply the upgrade. If you have installed PES on several PCs, you will need to get upgrades for each PC and apply the upgrades individually.
Note: Always use the upgrade function. Do not load a new version of PES; this would result in the loss of all lists and forms that have been created.
