Forgotten Password

If you forget your login password, the Forget Password function in PES will prompt you with the question that you entered when you first keyed in your password. Once the correct answer to this question is entered, PES will allow you to reset your password.

Note: The Forgotten Password feature is only available on the primary (Typical install) computer.

If you know you’ve forgotten your password, follow the steps below starting with step 1.

If you enter incorrect passwords on three consecutive attempts, the Forget Password function will be invoked automatically; in this case, begin with the instructions in step 2.

  1. Click Forgot Password on the Login window.

  1. Enter the answer to your password reset question. Click OK.
  2. Enter and rekey your new password in the Password Reset window. Click OK.
  3. A message will display indicating that the password update was successful.

Tip

If after three consecutive attempts you do not enter a correct answer in the Password Help window, PES will ask if you want to reset your password.

If you click Yes, the password will be reset for you. If you click No, the application will close. You will then need to call the Wisconsin Help Desk to request a new password. The EDI Help Desk will need your User ID and Reset Key to setup a new password.
