Admit Source List

The Admit Source list is preloaded and allows you to select or modify the list of admit source codes. As with other lists, once the code is entered into the list, it may be accessed from drop-down boxes within the institutional claim form screens. To enter or edit admit source codes, follow these steps:

1. Select the Lists option on the menu bar.
2. Select the Admit Source list.
3. Enter data into all of the required boxes on the Admit Source screen using the table below as a guide.
   
   

   Admit Source List
   Field	Description
   Admit Source Code	Enter or select the admission source code. These codes are required for inpatient and nursing home claims.
   Description	Enter the admit source code description. The description can be up to 60 characters and spaces.



4. Click Save to save the data or Add to add a new admit source code.
