Revenue Code List

The Revenue Code list allows you to create a list of revenue codes used most often in the institutional claim form. As with other lists, once the code is entered into the list, it may be accessed from drop-down boxes within the institutional claim form screens. To enter revenue codes, follow these steps:

1. Select the Lists option on the menu bar.
2. Select the Revenue Code list.
3. Enter data into all of the required boxes on the Revenue Code screen using the table below as a guide.

 

Revenue Code List
Field	Description
Revenue Code	Enter the four-digit revenue code from the Uniform Billing (UB-92) Manual that identifies a specific accommodation or ancillary service. Note: Code 0001 is no longer valid for electronic claim submission. PES will calculate the total accumulated charge.
Description	Enter the revenue code description. The description can be up to 60 characters and spaces.



4. Click Save to save the data or New to add a new revenue code.
