Voiding Dental Claims

Use this feature when your claim was paid and you now want Wisconsin Medicaid to recoup the entire claim. To void a claim, click the dental button on your toolbar and follow these steps:

1. Select the claim you want to void at the bottom of the Header 1 tab.
2. Click Copy.
3. Select "8" in the Claim Frequency box.
4. Enter the 15-digit internal control number (ICN) in the Original Claim # box.
5. Click Save.
6. Click on Communication on the menu bar.
7. Click on Submission.
8. Select "Web Server" from the Method box.
9. Select "Medicaid" from the Program box.
10. Click on the appropriate form type under Files to Send.
11. Click Submit.
