The Division of Health Care Financing is pleased to provide you with a copy of the revised Physician Services Handbook. This handbook is a guide to Wisconsin Medicaid for all Medicaid-certified physician services providers. Providers should maintain and refer to this handbook in conjunction with the All-Provider Handbook. This revised version of the Physician Services Handbook completely replaces the previous versions published in March 2003 (Medicine and Surgery and Laboratory and Radiology sections) and in March 2001 (Anesthesia section) and all previously published physician services Wisconsin Medicaid and BadgerCare Updates.

All-Provider Publications

Providers are reminded to retain their all-provider publications. The revised Physician Services Handbook does not replace these publications.

Additional Copies of Publications

The Wisconsin Medicaid Web site, dhfs.wisconsin.gov/medicaid/, contains additional information for all Medicaid providers, service-specific information, and electronic versions of the Physician Services Handbook and the All-Provider Handbook.
