Physician Signature
In accordance with 107.12(1)(d)2. and HFS 107.113(2), Wis. Admin. Code, the written POC shall be reviewed, signed, and dated by the recipient’s physician as often as required by the recipient’s condition but at least every 62 days and prior to the end of the certification period on the recipient’s POC. If the subsequent POC is not signed by the physician prior to the end of the previous certification period, the nurse is working without orders, and these services are not reimbursable by Wisconsin Medicaid.
