Recipient Eligibility for Private Duty Nursing Services

Recipients Who Are Not Eligible for Private Duty Nursing Services

If the recipient requires fewer than eight hours of direct skilled nursing services in a 24-hour period, he or she may be eligible for other home health services and should be referred to a home health agency.

A recipient cannot be eligible concurrently for both PDN and home health skilled nursing services.
