Description:  Wheels for the World is a non-profit organization that collects used adult and pediatric manual wheelchairs, foldable walkers, canes, and metal crutches. They are refurbished and taken to developing nations where these items are nearly impossible to get. The items are personally fit to the individual recipient by teams of disability specialists including PTs, OTs, and DME specialists. There are volunteers around Wisconsin collecting these items. Many are willing to pick up the item from the donor. Receipts are provided to donors.
