Helping Keep Wisconsin's Children Healthy

Helping children develop healthy habits at an early age is important.  The habits they develop while they are young will follow them throughout their lives.  Children often mimic the behaviors of those they are close to and see regularly.  This is why it is crucial for parents and caregivers to be good role models and to set a good example by living a healthy lifestyle.

Part of being healthy means being active and eating well.  Children should get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, 5 days a week.  Help your children start good habits by eating healthy and getting active by using the information and resources we have gathered:
