Get active

It is important for kids of all ages to live an active lifestyle.  It is recommended that all children exercise or be active for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.  This goal can be met through a wide range of activities that, not only will provide exercise, but enjoyment as well.  Here are some examples to help kids of all ages get started.  Many of these activities can be done alone, as a team or with the family.  Set a good example by participating in these activities with them.

To help you or your child keep track of their daily exercises, please use this activity log (PDF, 32kb).
