Healthy Birth Outcomes:
Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities
Statewide Advisory Committee

The Statewide Advisory Committee on Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Birth Outcomes has been established to advise the Department of Health Services in the implementation of the Framework for Action. The committee will annually review the purpose of the Framework, track progress, recommend revisions, and engage additional partners. Advisory Committee members may also be asked to take on the role of ambassadors, help to raise awareness, identify resources, and facilitate action at all levels of the community.

Committee members will be asked to serve for a two-year commitment. The Advisory Committee is anticipated to meet for three half-day meetings per year. Meetings will take place in Southern or Southeastern Wisconsin.
