Footprints to Health is a 15 month program in Wausau that is aimed at increasing physical activity and healthier eating for families living in the Franklin School neighborhood.  The program will run from March 2006 to June 2007.

Footprints to Health is an initiative in the Franklin Neighborhood sponsored by the Healthy Eating, Active Living (HEAL) Coalition of Marathon County. The purpose of this initiative is to improve the health of parents of elementary-aged children by helping them increase their daily physical activity and fruit and vegetables eaten. The initiative is designed to have an impact on parents through individual, family and organizational activities as well as changing the neighborhood environment to support opportunities to be active and eat healthy.
