The Worksite
Wellness Resource Kit (rev. Sept. 2007) is a tool to assist worksites with implementing
strategies that have been proven to be effective. The kit walks you through the
process of developing a worksite wellness program. The entire
kit and individual sections can be downloaded by selecting the link
above. Complete the order form to receive a
free, printed copy of the
resource kit.
On
September 19, 2007, over 200 people interested in healthy worksites
attended a summit in Madison. Select the link above to see more

strategies that focus on helping people eat healthier and be more active

Wellness Pilot Programs - A summary of recent pilot work done in
multiple worksites is available in the Healthier
Wisconsin Worksite Initiative - 2007 Summary Report. Two
accompanying documents that list general information on what strategies
were piloted in local communities are posted below. The pilot initiatives
were funded
by a Healthy
Lifestyles (Cancer) grant and a Healthier
Wisconsin Worksite Initiative (National Governor's Association) grant.

vending contracts to provide healthier snack and food options in the
workplace.
Healthy
Worksite Initiative (exit DHFS). This web site was designed
by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a resource for
Worksite Health Promotion program planners in state and federal
government. Planners at non-government workplaces may also find this
Web site useful in generating ideas for wellness programs in your
organization. The site collects information from a variety of
sources and organizes them at a single site. Here you will find
samples, information, resources, and step-by-step toolkits to help you
improve the health of your employees.
