Primary Prevention of Sexual Violence
Our Visionary Touchstone: We
are committed to the elimination of sexual violence.
In 2006, Wisconsin began the development of a comprehensive plan to end
sexual violence. In collaboration with the Center for Disease Control and
Prevention, The Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault, community-based
organizations, statewide Sexual Assault Service Providers, and other state
agencies with ties to violence prevention, education, and health, a focus group
was formed as the preliminary step in this process.
