  • As of January, 2008 DHFS will no longer post ECF data to the web.  The scanning of backfiles is complete for almost all agencies.

  • The Medicaid Eligibility Handbook (MEH) has been entirely rewritten. The old MEH found at http://www.emhandbooks.wi.gov/meh/ is obsolete as of 02-01-08.  It will still remain online so staff can view former policy.  The new MEH now pertains only to elderly, blind, and disabled (EBD) individuals.  The url for this new version of the MEH is found at http://www.emhandbooks.wi.gov/meh-ebd/ and is effective 02-01-08.  It has been restructured to be more user-friendly.  Also, new FPLs were updated in this release.  All other Medicaid information for families, pregnant women, and children is found in the BadgeCare Plus Eligibility Handbook at http://www.emhandbooks.wi.gov/bcplus/
