"moves" are updates or fixes to the CARES system.
Each month, this page will include the moves that will have
the greatest impact on CARES users. CARES moves are
generally made each month on the Friday after adverse
action. Move dates are planned in advance, however, for a
variety of reasons, decisions may sometimes be made to delay
or change move dates. This page will be updated monthly with
the best information available. |

Notice of Missed Interview Letter
Local agencies must notify households that miss their initial
FoodShare interview appointment that they need to contact the agency
to reschedule.
Customer whose appointments are scheduled through CARES Client
Scheduling already receive this notification.
To help agencies who do not use CARES Client Scheduling fulfill
this requirement, a worker generated letter will be available soon
to inform applicants they need to contact the worker to reschedule
their appointment. Access the letter by entering:

Citizenship and Identity Requirements letter
A worker generated letter outlining this policy requirement will
soon be available to send to applicants.
The letter outlines the policy requirement and includes the
‘Statement of Identity for Children Under 16 Years of Age’
affidavit form.
