Re: Pharmacy Newscapsule

The Bureau of Quality Assurance (BQA) in the Division of Supportive Living publishes a bi-monthly newsletter called "The Pharmacy Newscapsule." This newsletter is a means of providing up-to-date information to staff who survey health and residential facilities regulated by BQA. The material is presented with a "surveyor focus;" however, the information has been informative and helpful to providers and others as well. This newsletter gives information on new medications, recall alerts, medical errors and what various organizations are suggesting to decrease the amount of errors in our health systems. It also has a section that will focus on the drug of the month. Copies of the newsletter are available on our website at www.dhfs.state.wi.us/rl_DSL/Publications/PharmCapsule.htm.
