Client Rights Training
The DDES Client Rights Office is offering three training sessions
this spring. This training is designed primarily for Client Rights
Specialists and other program managers who have involvement with client
rights or the grievance process:

Attending this training satisfies the requirements of
HFS 94.40(2)(d) that Client Rights Specialists be trained in HFS 94
procedures, techniques for resolution of concerns and grievances and the
applicable sections of ch. 51, Stats., and ch. 92, Wis. Admin. Code.
Anyone working with the HFS 94 grievance process is also encouraged to
attend. Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested in this
training, especially Client Rights Specialists.

CLIENT RIGHTS TRAINING
The Department of Health and Family Services, Client
Rights Office, announces the following three training sessions for
Client Rights Specialists and other program managers who have
involvement with client rights or the grievance process:
Registration fee:
$45.00 each session – includes all materials, breaks and lunch.
No refunds on registration fees, but substitutions are allowed.

Mail the registration form, below, along with your check or money order
made out to DDES (Division of Disability & Elder Services).

Vaughn Brandt is the State Grievance Examiner in the Client Rights
Office.
Vaughn has worked in the Client Rights Office since 1998.
Gerard Gierl, J.D., is a Client Rights Specialist in the Client
Rights Office.

James Yeadon, J.D., is the Supervisor of the Client Rights Office,
DHFS.
