Reciprocity

The department will reciprocally recognize a radioactive material license issued by another agreement state or the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) if the licensee conducts licensed activities in the state of Wisconsin for no more than 180 days in a calendar year.  The DHS will also accept an individual radiographer's certification if the individual or company submits to the department a clear, legible, copy (front and back) or a valid certification from the states or entities providing radiographer certification.
