Client Rights Training Opportunities
Nov. 8th Training for community Client Rights Specialists (PDF, 27 KB)
Client Rights Office (CRO) staff provide training for community Client
Rights Specialists and Program Managers dealing with Client Rights the HFS
94 grievance process.
In February and March of 2005, state-wide sessions were held in
Pewaukee, Waukesha, and Madison. While CRO staff are not currently
planning to offer further state-wide training sessions in the immediate
future, there are other options available.
If your county or service provider is interested in sponsoring Client
Rights training for your staff, CRO staff would be willing to attend and
present at such a session.
Your county or service provider would have to arrange dates with CRO
staff, set up the training, and coordinate with CRO to arrange training
materials. Because CRO staff time is limited, it is hoped that the
training you arrange with CRO reaches as many people as possible.
If your county or service provider is thinking about asking CRO staff
to present at a training session, please consider inviting staff from
neighboring counties or other service providers in your area.
We also provide consultation by phone or email on client rights issues.
If you have questions about client rights or the HFS 94 Grievance
Resolution Procedure and what is required from your agency, please feel
free to call for advice or direction.
CRO staff provided training documents during the state-wide sessions.
These documents are intended to assist staff and providers in complying
with the client rights laws and rules. These documents are available on
the following topics:
