Community Integration Initiative
Mission: To assist
stakeholders throughout the state to increase the scope and quality of
services they provide to support people with developmental disabilities
in high quality, cost effective, non-institutional settings.
Goal: Establish regional support teams who can assist stakeholders in
their efforts to develop sustainable systems of services and supports at
the local level for people throughout Wisconsin with developmental disabilities with a special emphasis on meeting
complex health and/or behavioral health needs.
Outcome: Resource development will concentrate on the regional capacity to
meet people’s needs in these key areas:
