Keys to Professional Caregiving Training
Training Overview:
This interactive training focuses on improving communication skills for
direct caregivers by focusing on communication styles, resolving conflict,
assertive communication and observing professional boundaries. The
training stresses that better communication skills leads to improved
client care and reduces the potential for caregiver misconduct.
Training Goals:
- Understanding how style affects communication
- Using your communication style effectively
- Maintaining professional boundaries
Training Logistics:
The full training is 4 hours in length but can be broken into three
shorter segments of roughly 80 minutes each.
