Q1. Is there a copay if the member is transferred from one hospital to another (member is stabilized)?
A1. A copay of $50 applies for all ambulance trips, emergency or not. The copay is applied once to the base rate. BadgerCare Plus Update 2007-87 specifies the base rates to which it applies.

Q2. The BadgerCare Plus Update (2007-87) lists S0207 (Parametic intercept, non-hospital-based ALS service) as a service for which the $50 copay applies, yet this is not a covered service under the Standard Plan. Is this a covered service under the Benchmark Plan?
A2. No, S0207 (parametic intercept, non-hospital-based ALS service) is not a covered service under the Benchmark Plan. BadgerCare Plus will issue a corrected Update.
