Acknowledgements
We would like to thank the many Wisconsin parents and early intervention
professionals who contributed to the development of the first version of this parent
guidebook. We especially wish to acknowledge Sue Robbins and Laurie Lusk who, with their
strong commitment to children with disabilities and their families, led the development of
the first edition in 1993.
This 1999 revision has also benefited greatly from the valuable input of a diverse
group of reviewers. It is our continuing hope that throughout our childrens lives,
we will not forget to keep dreaming, sharing our dreams, and making them real.
