Wisconsin Personnel Development
Project (WPDP)

WPDP addresses the need for well-qualified early
intervention service providers. WPDP offers a wide range of educational
opportunities for parents, service providers, & program managers,
including statewide & regional workshops, parent leadership activities,
a video lending library & technical assistance for Birth to 3 programs.

Regional Supports
for the Wisconsin Birth to 3 Program
The Department of Health & Family Services has
regional State Staff available to assist county programs. These Assistant
Area Administrators (AAA’s) participate in Birth to 3 Program Reviews,
State Regional Meetings, and regional networking meetings related to Birth
to 3, as well as such activities for other county programs. They have
expertise in county systems issues.
RESource staff are responsible for assisting State Staff
in technical assistance and monitoring of county Birth to 3 programs. They
participate in and co-facilitate county Program Reviews and provide ongoing
technical assistance for county Birth to 3 programs in their designated
regions. RESource provides county programs a liaison to state staff to
disseminate information and assist in program implementation.
