Benefits Options for
People with Disabilities

This webcast will focus on three key programs for people
with disabilities: Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security
Income and the Medical Assistance Purchase Plan (MAPP).
John Benbow, Research and Curriculum Specialist for the
Wisconsin Disability Benefits Network (WDBN) and Project Leader for the
Benefits, Planning, Assistance, and Outreach program of Employment
Resources, Inc., (ERI) of Madison, will deal with the basic elements of
Social Security Administration programs and processes. He will also cover Medical Assistance,
focusing on the Medical Assistance Purchase Plan (MAPP), as well as
discussing benefits counseling
available in Wisconsin.
