Division of Public Health
The Division of Public Health (DPH), is responsible for providing public health
services, and environmental and public health regulation. The Division has programs in
the areas of environmental health, occupational health, family and community health,
emergency medical services and injury prevention, chronic disease prevention and health
promotion, and communicable diseases. It is also responsible for
issuing birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates as well as
collecting statistics related to the health health care industry and the
health of the people in Wisconsin.
