2008 Barbara A. Lange Memorial Award in Health
Education - Please note that two award categories are now
available to recognize a colleague for her/his efforts in health
education and health promotion in Wisconsin. Please consider
submitting a nomination and share this announcement widely with
others. Deadline for receipt of nomination materials is Monday, March

The September 14th MCH Regional Forum held in Madison
was captured via MediaSite. Though this was the only Forum
captured via webcast, the same presentations were done at each of the
five MCH Regional Forums with the local presentation being unique to
each region. From http://dhfs.wisconsin.gov/webcast/
select "view the catalog of our webcasts". On the left
side bar under "2007 Events" select "Conferences";
scroll down and the 5 separate presentations will show beginning with
the title "MCH Regional Forum".

The Northern Region Tobacco Training and Technical
Assistance program has mini-grants available for Northern Region local
public health and tribal community health departments/clinics for
tobacco prevention and control training and technical assistance
activities that occur between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008.
Projects must include an emphasis on smoke-free air policy
change. Applications are due by November 28th. Maximum
award is $1000. Instructions
