| SUBJECT: | Revised All-Provider Handbook |
The Division of Health Care Financing (DHCF) is pleased to provide you with a copy of the revised All-Provider Handbook. The All-Provider Handbook is a guide to Wisconsin Medicaid for all Medicaid-certified providers. Providers should maintain and refer to this handbook in conjunction with their service-specific publications. This revised version completely replaces the previous version published in June 2000 and all previously published Wisconsin Medicaid and BadgerCare Updates for all providers.
Features of the Revised Handbook
The following revisions have been made to the All-Provider Handbook:
- Managed Care section. The Managed Care section completely replaces the Medicaid Managed Care Guide.
- Claims Information. This was formerly named the Claims Submission section.
- Certification and Ongoing Responsibilities section. The Certification and Ongoing Responsibilities section is a combination of the Provider Certification section and Provider Rights and Responsibilities section from the previous version.
- Recipient Eligibility section. This was formerly named the Recipient Rights and Responsibilities section.
- Informational Resources. This was formerly named the Provider Resources section.
Service-Specific Publications
Providers are reminded to retain all of their service-specific publications, including Updates. The revised All-Provider Handbook does not replace those.
Additional Copies of Publications
The Wisconsin Medicaid Web site, dhs.wisconsin.gov/medicaid/, contains additional information for all Medicaid providers, service-specific information, and an electronic version of the All-Provider Handbook.
