This BadgerCare Plus Update informs providers that new income limits are effective immediately for the Express Enrollment for Pregnant Women Benefit and the Presumptive Eligibility for the Family Planning Waiver.

Express Enrollment for Pregnant Women

To determine eligibility for Express Enrollment (EE) for Pregnant Women, providers should use the income limits for 200 percent and 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) in conjunction with the instructions found in the Guide to Determining Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women.

The FPL guidelines are updated annually and published on the Medicaid Web site at dhfs.wisconsin.gov/medicaid1/fpl/fpl.htm. Providers should refer to the Web site for the most current FPL guidelines. Annual Updates containing these guidelines will no longer be published.

Family Planning Waiver

To determine eligibility for the Family Planning Waiver, providers should use the income limit for 200 percent of the FPL.
