Family Care Independent Disability Ombudsman Program

On June 17, 2008, the Department of Health Services issued a Notice of Intent to award a contract to Disability Rights Wisconsin (exit DHS) for Ombudsman services to current or potential enrollees of the Family Care and Family Care Partnership programs, or to their families or guardians, as required by 2007 Wisconsin Act 20, Wis. Stats. 46.281(1n)(e).

As advocates for Family Care members, potential members, and their families, the Ombudsmen will assist them in navigating the program and in resolving their problems informally whenever possible.
