MCH Program…. Connecting the Dots 
Presenter: Linda Hale - Chief, Family Health Section 

This session will "connect the dots" between the State & National Performance measures, priorities identified through the 2006-2010 MCH statewide Needs Assessment, performance based contracting, and data collection and service and system documentation through SPHERE. MCH Program updates will also be covered.

The Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Program (CYSHCN) and the Northern Regional CYSHCN Center will review both regional and state-wide efforts to support Medical Home spread and discuss how local health departments can become part of this effort to assure quality care.

SPHERE required data and MCH required data - is there a difference? Find out what the required data is for SPHERE and MCH and why it is required. Find out what the reports are telling us about this data and how it is used to meet Federal reporting requirements. What is the data telling us about our MCH, CYSHCN, and Reproductive Health populations and how is it being used to promote best practices?
